Popular Services offered by the Refurbished E-Citizen Platform

Kenya government has launched the refurbished E-Citizen Portal that merges all government services and bring them closer to the people  Digital transformation was a key pillar of the Kenya Kwanza manifesto  The official government Paybill number is 222222.  E-Citizen was launched in 2014 by the then president Uhuru Kenyatta. President William Ruto launched the refurbished E-Citizen on June 30, 2023 where he closed the many Paybill numbers that were used to pay for government services. Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung'u has already gazetted the the online portal. The government has also established public Wi-Fi points to be used by Kenyans to access government services. Government portal is set to offer 5000 online services. Major Services offered by the E-Citizen Platform NTSA provisional driving license. Business registration services.
