R ussians showed solidarity with the world in condemning Putin’s full-scale attack on Ukraine. This was after a video went viral showing the recording of a Ukrainian soldier showing the Snake Island, moments before it was fired by Russian troops . 13 soldiers lost their lives on the spot, including the soldier who live-streamed the video. Later on, Ukrainian soldiers were captured on video burning their documents outside the Ukraine Defense headquarters in Kiev. R ussia launched a full-scale war on Ukraine, after US and NATO failed to acknowledge Moscow’s security worry regarding Ukraine becoming a NATO member. Macron became the first leader of a major European country to meet Putin since Russia sent its troops near Ukrainian border. I srael Palestine conflict came to a tumultuous halt after Egypt brokered a truce on Thursday. The end of war came in the wake of increased international call for ceasefire. Egyptian brokered ceasefire came into effect on Friday. News of ceasefire was met with celebration from Palestinians. Hundreds gathered to celebrate end of conflict at Al Aqsa Mosque after Morning Prayer. Israel stated that Egypt pleaded for the end in conflict and the agreement “will be mutual and unconditional”. Some leaders have criticized Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over destroying infrastructures in Gaza.  Israel security Cabinet approved the truce to ending offensive on Gaza after heeding to Egypt’s demand.
