Miguna Miguna has revealed the citizenship of former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i.
The Canadian based Kenyan lawyer extended his vengeance against Matiang'i in a well choreographed retaliatory attack alleging how the former CS renounced his Kenyan citizenship.
According to Miguna, Matiang'i acquired US citizenship through naturalization process.
"Matiang’i himself is a citizen of the United States of America. He acquired US citizenship when the US required one to renounce their citizenship of birth or naturalization before becoming US citizens," Miguna posted on his X account.
He further cautioned Kenyans of the impeding impunity, should Matiang'i take charge of the country.
Miguna said: "Don’t worry. We are just warming up on Despot Fred Okeng’o Matiang’i—Kenya’s face of impunity."
Seemingly, the ghost of deporting Miguna against court orders formed the basis of his criticism against the former Cabinet Secretary.
Miguna's allegation, comes a day after he rejected Matiang's presidential bid in an an interview with Citizen TV.
Matiang'i recently resigned from a World Bank job to try his luck in the forthcoming presidential contest to be held in 2027.
He will wrestle with the incumbent President William Ruto, who will be vying for his second term.
Other leaders who have declared interest in presidency include: Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, David Maraga and Okiya Omutata among others.
