Technology companies are among the top valuable brands in the globe.

These companies are either owned or managed by the top ranked rich individuals.

The most valuable tech brands

1. Google: Is an American multinational, technology company. It focusses on search engine technology, online advertising, quantum computing, cloud computing, computer software, computer hardware and artificial intelligence (AI).

BBC listed Google as the most powerful company in the world.

The giant search engine, Google was officially found on September 4 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, when they filled the incorporation papers.

2. Amazon: Is an American multinational tech company that was found on July 5 1994 by Jeff Bezos. The company deals in online advertising, cloud computing, streaming content and artificial intelligence.

It originally started as an online store for books, but has gradually expanded its services.

3. Apple: Is an American multinational tech company that specializes in software and electronics.

The company was found on April 1 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniac and Ronald Wayne. 

4. Meta: Is a multinational company that owns prominent social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.

The company formerly referred as Facebook Inc was found on January 4 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz.

The company operates an advertisement network for its own site and third parties.

5. Microsoft: Is an American technology conglomerate and multinational corporation that was initially formed to deal with computer software like windows operating system.

The company was found on April 4 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. 

Since its inception, Microsoft services has expanded from windows to cloud computing, internet services and video gaming among many others.
