Uhuru Kenyatta’s popularity in Mount Kenya is under major test as Ruto and allies gain significant political mileage in the region. The recent by-elections have revealed a major paradigm shift in the Mt Kenya voting pattern, sending signals that the region no longer embrace their purported Kingpin Uhuru Kenyatta. The region had been predominantly known for following the wish of their Master, but things are gradually changing.
