Thoma Bravo to Acquire Cloud-based Software and Data Analytics Firm RealPage

Private equity firm Thoma Bravo is set to obtain RealPage, a firm that deals in property management, for $10.2 billion. The firm will take full control of property management platform offering services such as site management, renter portals, financial analysis and expense management for property owners.

RealPage Company CEO Steve Win perceives the company changeover as a triumph for stock holders. According to Techcrunch, the Texas-based Company offers full property management services to over 12,200 clients across the world.

The property management technology firm announced its acquisition of IoT startup Stratis on December 2020. Stratis offers specialized services to the real estate industry. Firms like Thoma Bravo were attracted to RealPage due to its stronger customer base. 

RealPage Company was found in Texas in 1998 and develops cloud-based soft and data analytics for real estate developers. Their technologies are geared towards account management, business intelligence and marketing.

The Company offers incisive insights to broad-based trends and key performance indicators for property investors. Their services have quite been useful in the midst of a global pandemic, where various property owners risked rising numbers of rent defaulters due to job loses.

The technology firm provides clients the platform to gain confidence in the management of their assets. Clients are also provided the platform to leverage data insights and achieve incremental yields through space monetization.
