The appointment and final posting of Mwende Mwinzi as a Kenyan ambassador in Seoul has sparked countrywide uproar. MPs were the first ones to raise the salvo of how Mwende was posted without their approval. Kenyans called for the revocation of Mwende’s appointment by Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kenya legislators demanded Mwende to renounce his US citizenship first. He had been rejected by the National Assembly due to her dual citizenship. President Uhuru Kenyatta had appointed Miss Mwende as Kenya’s ambassador to South Korea.
The House uproar trickled down to Kenyans on twitter (KOT), who demanded that Miguna Miguna be allowed to jet, back to the country as he was a Kenyan citizen by birth. Miguna was deported to Canada after he participated in an illegitimate oath that saw ODM leader Raila Odinga ‘sworn’ as the People’s President.
One twitter user wrote: “Ambassador Mwende Mwinzi is a Kenyan. I wish her all the best in Seoul. It’s also time to allow Miguna Miguna come home.”
Another user wrote: “We know how it will end. The committee will be given something small in the toilet like the MCAs and Mwende Mwinzi will be cleared to be in South Korea. Let our Miguna Miguna come home.”
Appointing Mwende Mwinzi as ambassador despite the disapproval by parliament is such an affront to the rule of law.

This shouldn’t be allowed. The President must reverse this move. @StateHouseKenya
