Covid-19 Lockdown Puzzle Get Many Kenyans Unaware

When President Uhuru Kenyatta introduced new Covid-19 restrictions on Friday, many Kenyans were got unaware. A number of Kenyans will find themselves in unfamiliar territories, once the sanction comes into effect on Friday midnight.
The cessation of movement in and out of Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Kiambu and Nakuru has gotten many Kenyans talking as a number of them complain about the timeline given before the sanctions comes into effect.
One person who had travelled to Nairobi for treatment and discharged on Friday was planning to travel to his Eldoret home on Saturday, before he received the shocking news. The person complained to NTV reporter that he doesn’t have a house in Nairobi and doesn’t have enough money to sustain him in a Hotel room.
Apart from the cessation of movement in and out of the aforementioned Counties, the President also announced the following measures: 
There will be no in-person gatherings of any kind in the five counties that have recorded increased number of Covid-19 case, curfew to begin at 8pm and end at 4am, bars and eateries shall be closed. Other Counties curfew time remain unchanged. 
The president also announced the closure of all learning institutions with the exception of KCSE candidates and medical students, public gatherings shall not exceed 50 people and all hospitals were directed to limit the number of visitors to one person per patient.

Uproar after armed goons infiltrate women press briefing at KHRC

Armed militia stormed KHRC, causing lots of chaos, confusion and mayhem. Goons disrupted Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHCR) press conference in Nairobi on Sunday, and accused the organizers for planning Saba Saba protests . Mothers had convened at the KHRC offices to address issues related to seeking Justice for victims of police brutality. The attack prompted the conveners to scamper for safety. According to Standard Media, one journalist attached to them lost a phone which was snatched from him by one of the goons.
