Homeworking Revealed Technologies’ Biggest Flaws

When the world was struck with Covid-19, many Companies and Organizations shifted from office work to homeworking in a bid to curb spread of the virus. The power of tech made it possible for work to continue without the physical presence of employees.
Cloud-based services was most sought to support technologies that have made homeworking possible. Applications like Zoom, Slack and Microsoft Teams have been largely deployed to facilitate real-time meetings.
Homeworking seemed to have created a distinct line between those who could afford to use the technologies and those who couldn’t afford to access the tech gadgets. Some places suffered from regular network outages making it hard to rely on homeworking.
The virtual reality and amplified reality, characteristic with homeworking technologies, failed to bring people together virtually when they were physically distanced.
Some people lacked the access to digital technologies that would facilitate telecommuting. For example it was hard for teachers to teach their learners at home because most of the children didn’t have access to PCs or laptops.
From the start, managers found it hard to manage projects undertaken by their teams who were spread across different locations. Keeping track of each individual’s task still remains an arduous task. Homeworking augmented frequent lapses due to unmonitored performance.
Homeworking exacerbated internet trolls as employees became bolder when operating their keyboards. Homeworking saw the employees become aggressive and disrespectful among themselves, according to work culture expert Gustavo Razzetti.

Why Matiang'i comeback threatens Ruto's re-election bid

Former Interior cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i is a great rival to President William Ruto in his 2027 re-election contest. Public Seal transfer: Inside Ruto's plot to secretly sell State Parastatals

The reason why the Public Seal was allegedly transferred from the Attorney General office to the Chief of Staff in the office of the President of Kenya is yet to be known with quite a number of contradictory remarks. Phode News Hub delved deeper and unearthed imponderable dirty corrupt schemes and conspiracy to privatize State parastatals through illegitimate means.  Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru alleged that the Public Seal is in the custody of the Head of Public Service, Felix Kipatarus Koskei. All commercial engagements and accords will allegedly be sealed by Koskei on behalf of Kenya government. Kenya is glaring at the risks of  being auctioned by a person who lacks the legal knowledge to discern what should be sealed and what should not. According to the Attorney General Act 2012, Section 28 specifically provides that, “The Attorney-General shall have custody of the public seal of the Republic of Kenya." Standard Media exclusively reported that President William Ruto sec...
