Scientists have demonstrated how quantum computer could function up to three million times faster than a classical computer.  The study that was conducted by researchers from quantum computing D-Wave, established that using a procedure dubbed quantum annealing; they could simulate resources up to three million faster than it would yield with conforming classical methods. The study was conducted by D-Wave together with a team of researchers from Google. The research finding concluded that quantum annealing processors had a comparative computational advantage as compared to classical central processing unit (CPU). Barely a month after investing in bitcoin , Tesla’s profit has been publicized by analysts. According to the estimates released by an analyst from Wedbush Securities, Tesla has already made around $1 billion profit. NASA Perseverance robot successfully landed on the red planet on February 18, 2021 after travelling for a distance of over 200 million kilometers from planet earth. Perseverance was accompanied by Ingenuity, a tiny helicopter that was tagged on its belly. According to CNN reports, the Ingenuity helicopter is in good condition and is functioning as was expected. Cisco has announced that it would collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud on the integration between AWS Core and Cisco Edge intelligence software. The move will enhance seamless movement of data from the network’s edge to AWS.  In a blog post released by Cisco , the company compared data to ‘new oil’ that required extraction, processing and delivery. The move is meant to reduce the cost of migrating all internet of things (IoT) data to the cloud. The company is seeking to end barriers of converting edge data to insights. United Kingdom (UK) has become the first country in the world to back an initiative where 90 young people will take up the human challenge of being exposed to Covid-19 . The challenge is set to bolster the development of Covid-19 vaccines and treatment. At least 90 young health volunteers aged between 18 and 30 will be exposed to coronavirus in a ‘safe and regulated environment.’ The study involves young adults because of low risk. Similar studies have been held in the past for diseases like flu, cholera and malaria.
